KSSA Excellence in the Year 2002

There are a number of special achievements that we would like to recognise and share with you today from the past season.

This weekend Chris Rodway and Chris Coulcher are sailing in Wales for the NSSA National Team in the Nations Cup.

Michael Payne was awarded a place on the Presidents Award cruise on the 12-metre yacht Sceptre, sailing in the western isles of Scotland.

Chloe Martin has made a big impact upon the National Optimist results this season.

Chris Catt was at the top in the Topper Class this season Inland Championships 3^{rd at} Grafham Water, The National Championships 3^rd at Downs SC, and then World Championships 2^nd in Holland.

We must also mention the special team effort performance by the Kent Team under the Captaincy of Clare Stubbs and Richard Turnill at this years NSSA Regatta at Grafham Water in July – well done to all team members
