The Nesham Driver Memorial Award
The Nesham Driver Memorial Award, is to mark the contribution of John Nesham
and Jack Driver to youth sailing and life afloat. The award is made to young
people who are “striving to achieve something special in sailing and where a
little extra help would make all the difference.”
This year the Award is to help a young sailor who first appeared in the KSSA
novice group of Topper sailors at Bewl Valley in 2005. Since that time she has
trained and raced hard, had several podium results and especially the Topper
Class action at the 2009 NSSA National Youth Regatta at Bridlington.
The Nesham Driver Memorial Award in 2009 goes to Charlotte Fenn to help her
involvement in the 2010 with entry fees to the Topper Class National & Inland
championships.
