The Nesham Driver Memorial Award
The Nesham Driver Memorial Award, is to mark the contribution of John Nesham
and Jack Driver to youth sailing and life afloat. The award is made to young
people who are “striving to achieve something special in sailing and where a
little extra help would make all the difference.”
This year the Award is to help a young sailor win a place in the British Team
for the 2007 World Youth Championships. The funds will help with additional
coaching from a top quality coach over the coming winter.
During the past season the sailor has had some impressive results in UK and on
the continent and was the top female youth sailor at the 2006 Radial Nationals
at Largs.
The Nesham Driver Memorial Award in 2006 goes to Chloe Martin of Bough Beech SC
