Topper Team Race Report The Kent School's Team Racing Event was held at the Redoubt Sailing Club on 14th May 2011. There were 12 Teams entered from 7 Clubs/Schools. A bright sunny day with perfect winds greeted us when we arrived at 9:30 am. 34 races were held to establish the winners. All teams had an excellent time and a very good spirit of inter-club rivalry was seen. Certificates were given to all competitors. The first four teams were donated pottery pieces in addition to the shield for first place. Thanks to Neal Gibson and Rob Sherrington for starting all the races, to Rob Purvis for doing rescue and to several parents who helped out with jobs on shore and afloat. Thanks also to Elena Setterfield for drawing up and recording the results sheets and to Marion Smailes who ran the galley all day.
