NSSA Inland Championships

25th/26th May 2013

7 members of KSSA team competed in the NSSA inland championship at Datchet.  The wind was light and quite shifty.  KSSA had 2 boats in the Topper fleet, 2 boats in the Laser fleet and 2 in the handicap fleet.  The racing went from 11 until 5 on the first day so we completed 3 hour long races.

The course was a trapezoid course, with three starts on the same course. The start was using a 3,2,1 sequence. With a minute between each fleet.

All members of the Kent team did well.

Stan Chick was 5th in the Topper fleet. Mollie Sacker also in the Topper fleet who only did one day was 11th.

Julia Judd and Mark Lightbody came 5th in the Handicap fleet in the RS 200 and Max Taylor-Nobbs was 10th with his Laser 4.7 in the Handicap fleet.

In the Laser Radial fleet Quentin Bes-Green came 7th and Oskar Bisset came 16th.

Thanks to Sam Chick as team manager, the parents and Mike Gough for accompanying us.
